I also had no idea that ...Kelly I loved your poem. I also had no idea that some roses close up at night. That is how much I know. LOL I was curious and looked that up on the internet and found that some varieties do more so the singles than the many petalled ones. The many petalled ones try but it is difficult to tuck in so many petals. LOL. But I loved the last line that read ever rose must have it's thorn. Indeed that is so. Thanks for an enjoyable read.
