Dear Barbara, I enjoyed your Haiku, especially the one about the cat's whiskers being touched by snow flakes. Animals in Winter are such a rich subject area and especially well captured by a good Haiku. Thanks. Ron Grognet
ReplyDeleteDear Barbara,
ReplyDeleteWow! It's great to see you already have two encouraging comments on your haiku. Welcome to Whispers! I hope you enjoy your time spent here. Please let me know if you have any questions. Best wishes with all your writing endeavors.
Blessings,
Karen
Lovely haiku!
ReplyDeleteWelcome to Whispers !
Hi, the fact you belong to Haiku Society of America gives much credence to change and syllable count of your individual Haiku. I always thought there to be only one definite set of rules for this format, but now I know differently, even though I can't seem to let my mind "go there"... Beautifully expressive group of Haiku here! Sheri

Dear Barbara,
ReplyDeleteWelcome to Whispers and what lovely imagery in the haiku you have written. The first one has a mythical feel to it that I really liked and third one is adorable picturing snow on kitten whiskers and a lovely image of your son skipping his first stone. Thank you for sharing these great images with us all.
