Rainbow of Life--By Barbara Siekierski--United States

Rainbow of Life

A rainbow is like a dream
that fades away only to be
a memory of beautiful colors.

A rainbow hides behind clouds
only to reveal itself in all
its splendor and wonder.

A rainbow is God’s presence,
such a gift in our lives.

Barbara Siekierski is a writer from Swarthmore, PA.

  2. Hi Barbara,

What a lovely poem! Rainbows always seem magical to me. Just recently, we saw a double rainbow here in Florida. I'd never seen anything like it. It made me feel closer to God. Beautiful write! Best wishes, Carolyn Devonshire

  3. Yes, Barbara, a rainbow is God's gift, and what a beautiful and wonderful gift it is. Rainbows are such unique and splendid creations. Though they fade, you are right, their colors still radiate in our minds. Nice poem. Thank you for it, for I love nature poetry.

  4. Barbara, I loved the poem. It had deeper meaning for me. Thank you for this reminder; for me, the rainbow is a sign that, "I can see clearly now, the rain is gone (in my life) and I can see all obstacles in my way. It's gonna be a bright bright sunshiny day." And now the flowers of grace are appearing even in the middle of winter.
    Love, Charlene
