Haiku--By Martha Magenta--England

waxing gibbous
the rhythm of the baby's
heartbeat
____________

spring breeze
a maple stretches
to catch a kite
____________

empty beer cans
the conversation that seemed
so important
____________

refuge
we save and shelter 
fallen apples
____________

river by night
bathing in the moon
a silver bass
____________

  2. Nice haiku. My favorite is the empty beer cans. So common in today's society and good observation of feelings.
