Snow--By Rhoda Galgiani--United States

Snow

Warmth within one's heart
is precious when the snow
flakes drift into the wind -
beauty over takes the other
wise drab winter state as
the snow glistens when
stirred by the motion of
one's footsteps...

  1. Lovely poem Rhoda. You've painted a glistening picture in words that made snow just a little more meaningful for me! However, I'm ready for spring big time after a brutal 2015 winter! Best wishes, Chris~

  5. Rhoda, what a wonderful poem so well written and picturesque. I love the beauty of glistening snow. Don't much like getting out in it but I sure do like looking out the window at it.
    Love, Charlene

  6. Hello, Rhoda, I love your impressionistic word painting of winter and although I am and never have been a fond advocate of winter, as per se, I do relish the inspiration of all the seasons and so therefore, I heartily thank you for your artistic presentation! Sheri

  7. Hi Rhoda! Beautiful poem in which imagery plays a main part. We don't get snow in Malta, so poems like this one help me to get the 'feel' of it. All the best. // paul
