Tanka--By Archana Kapoor Nagpal--India

sun’s rays
through bare branches
on my pillow --
I still feel his
warmth
_______________

tattered cirrus clouds
stretch
over a hill top--
we climb holding
hand in hand
_______________

burgeoning
December fog
on the room window --
blow my breath
to write his name

  1. Hello, Archana! Beautiful Tanka written with much expression and heartfelt emotion! I love reading these because one has to know what they are intending for the end-result to have a meaning and intention to the reader. A very creative trio of Tanka you have presented. So good always to read you here at Whispers! Sheri / www.poetryandbeyond.net
