Within His Light--By Erich J. Goller--United States

Within His Light
( Sedoka Suite)

With a faith filled heart
build a ladder to the stars
strive to rise above each tide

stars that shimmer bright
whatever the skies above
there are floods we must endure

live each precious hour
yesterday has come and gone
treasured days passing away

give it greater calm
never fear the coming days
find strength for every task

search within your heart
with comfort and compassion
place or moment doesn’t matter

walk within His light
and scale all the mountains high
where love and contentment reign

  3. Erich, I much enjoyed your poem. Actually I needed to read it this morning as I was facing the tide once again, so even as it was happening and I read the first three lines, I mentally reached for the stars (God) and was lifted above it all. Thank you for sharing this faith filled poem and your talent.
