Pink Flower (A Requiem for Death)--By Ken Allan Dronsfield--United States

Pink Flower (A Requiem for Death)

"Please take me home,
where the Pink Flower's grow.
Brush my cheek,
and inspire virtuous desire.
Cast the dark away,
allow the light's after-glow.
Meld my spirit back,
to life's internal fire.
Here I lie entombed
deep in this hallowed ground.
Listening for the sounds,
of the shovels infernal digging.
The soul's awaiting its journey;
but the Sun's so warm and forgiving.
Yes, please carry me home,
where the Pink Flowers grow.

    2. Hello Ken

      I love titles and you have a marvelous one here before us. Never did you stray. Your entry is very much poetry in traditional fashion. It was a nice poetic touch starting and ending with the same words. Thank you for sharing your talent. Sincerely, Ann Marie Mazzarella
