Gratitude--By Caryl Calsyn

Gratitude

Rain after a drought
Health after illness
Reunion after separation
Acceptance after grief
Forgiveness after discord
Peace after turmoil

It is during the “afters”
that gratitude climbs
to the mountain top
and shouts, “Yes!”
