Dreamery--By Richard Carl Subber--United States

Dreamery

The dream was realistic in its detail…
In the old barn, I sensed a history
in every damp corner, an unfinished story
in every heap of debris that marked
a process without progress, in remnants
of machines, the gear of abandoned projects
that made only small shadows on the untidy floor.
I’m no farmer, I had no impulse
to harvest any dream theme,
but I felt no urge to end it…

  1. Dear Rick,

You describe this dream so vividly that I can understand you want to wander a bit longer in the barn, exploring.
    Thanks for sharing.

    Best wishes,
    Inge
