Tanka--By Madhuri Pillai--Australia

ancient
revered and reviled
this gnarled tree
under its forgiving branches
I rest my earth years

whispering loneliness

  2. Two very enjoyable pieces. The earth years has a sense of mortality, then, I am approaching 60! Best wishes Ralph.
