Time--By Barbara Siekierski--United States

Time

Time flies away, never to return.
It disappears like a leaf in the wind.
I try to get back memories,
regrets of what might have been,
dreams to be told,
and ambitions yet to be attained.

I ask myself does time stand still?
Does it march on?

Barbara Siekierski is a writer from Swarthmore, PA.

  1. Beautiful poem. Indeed, time waits for no person.

  2. As a young girl, my Father instilled time into my memory. To this day I love clocks and time, but it does move quickly and shan't wait for anyone or anything. In spite of that - I love time and its movement. Beautiful words...
