Limerick--By Gerald Heyder--United States

Limerick

I once knew a gal named Rosie
to whom I used to give posies,
but she began questioning
wanting to know everything,
so I dumped her for being too nosey!

Gerald Heyder is a published poet from Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

  5. I love a funny limerick Gerald Even a naughty one, ha ha I have a uncle that is a Catholic priest and he sends me a few that he hears in the confessional. It is funny what some people think is a sin against the church and God. God gave us laughter and He has a wonderful sense of humor. Just look at the funny and strange animals, insects and birds He created. Here is a limerick my uncle sent me. There once was a bishop of Algeria Whose motives were somewhat ulterior He done to a Nun Which none should have done And now she is a Mother Superior! Love Jane
