Haiku--By Nikko Palmario--Philippines

canopy of leaves
covers golden mango bunch...
rustle of bat wings

Nikko Palmario is someone who enjoys dabbling with words and chocolate.

  1. Hi Nikko. Good to see your work here at Whispers again. You always have some wonderful and intriguing work for us to read and meditate upon. Continued blessings!

  2. Nikko, always love that reference to Chocolate! Yummy! Love the bat wings reference, too, in your Haiku! I can almost hear the rustling and feel autumn in the air. That part depresses me, and although it is a lovely season winter isn't too far behind and I totally despise winter! Lol! Too much info here! Guess I'll go have that chocolate now! Sheri www/

  3. Dear Nikko,

Nice imagery presented in your Haiku. I can picture the bat waking up to get those mangos! I hope you are doing well, Nikko!

    All the you,

    Love Sandra

  4. A lovely thought as I prepare to drive to work! Beautiful. Best wishes Ralph.

  5. Dear Nikko,
I can just see you looking up to find the bat wings in the mango trees. Wow! Awesome haiku. It's wonderful to read your poetry here, dear.

    Love you,

  6. This is a lovely haiku, Nikko! I'm still with my eyes closed visualizing and enjoying it. // paul

  7. Thank you, Jack Horne, for the following--

Nikko - this one made me smile, just as you always do : )
