Floating Spirit--By Beth Winchcombe--England

Floating Spirit

Angels
Wings flutter
Shimmering gracefully
Through space
And time.

Beth Winchcombe is now a retired housewife and enjoys writing poetry, also painting in oils.  She lives in Derbyshire, England.

  1. Hello, Beth! I adore your angels poem! I love the thought of angels wisping about and singling beautiful hymns in acappella! Your poem is brief but very poignantly and creatively expressed! A joy to read you here at Whispers. Sheri / www.poetryandbeyond.net

  6. I love the thought of angels and this poem so well written and beautiful, though brief brings to my mind words I heard years ago from the spirit. "Angels are good thoughts". 'Angels' surround us daily and we need to pay more attention to them. I know I do. Thank you for sharing your talent and helping me remember that I need to focus on "Angels" more, because what I focus on comes back to me twice fold.
    Love, Charlene

I wonder if you would thank Charlene for me, she's sent me such a complimentary comment on my Floating Spirit poem. I found what she said very encouraging indeed.

    Warm wishes,
    Beth

    1. I received your thanks Beth and you are most welcome and deserving of compliments on your lovely poem. I do because of your poem have an increased desire and ability to think on "good thoughts". The picture painted in my mind with your words is still in my mind and leads me to look for and find the angels.
      Love, Charlene

  8. Dear Beth,

Your description of angels fluttering their wings through time and space is beautiful! If you see the movie "Heaven Is for Real," you will find that angels also have a sense of humor. What a delight it was to read your words today!

    Best wishes,
    Carolyn
