Summer Rain--By Maurice J. Reynolds--United States

Summer Rain

Dark clouds fill the sky,
the opening act for the
thunder and lightening
show waiting to take stage,
threatening all the fixings
of a fierce storm, until the
warm air and sparkling light
arrive with a change of plans,
ordering a gentle summer rain.

Maurice J. Reynolds is a freelance writer who has had material published in various publications. He is the owner of To God be the Glory! Publications, a literary ministry that produces the poetry publication Creative Inspirations.  More information can be found at: www.tgbtgpublictions.com

  1. Nice work Maurice,
I loved the way it was building to be fierce
when warm air made the change to gentle.
