Dissipating itself...--By Sunil Uniyal--India

Dissipating itself...
(A Ghazal)

Dissipating itself like a wave on the shore
This life has been just that, nothing more

Same roads I've travelled again and again
Through which have so many passed in vain

Every face that I met on the way
Had masks manifold, I must say

Which idol I should my plaint address
Day and night I'm under this stress

The wise have advised me times umpteen
But I've remained what I've been

I just wove webs with many a word
Nothing was new in what I uttered

  2. Your personal thoughts are your own - as mine are mine. But, somehow we come together. Small world, isn't it? Nice work...

  3. Thank you, Christine Tate, for the following comment--

"First of all, thank you for taking the time to comment on my poem, "Hummingbird & Honeybee"...

Yes, many lives are squandered & time vanishes before our eyes. However, I believe the Lord is ordering my steps, and His purpose has become my goal , and now hope blooms! I enjoyed reading your poem. I especially like the lines in your poem, "Every face that I met on the way, had masks manifold, I must say." How true! I've discovered once the Lord opened my eyes, that the masks men wear are slowly peeled away like one would the skin of an onion, to reveal a person's real motives underneath. A scary revelation, but true inner transformation can begin! Thanks for sharing your thoughts! God Bless you Sunil....
