Special Love
They are special
With a love inartificial
They and only they are endowed
With the amazing biology of giving birth
And the natural ability to breast-feed to satisfaction
They are special
With a love inartificial
They and only they are the world’s
Mothers and grandmothers and sisters
Who can care and love better than a mother?
They are special
With a love inartificial
They and only they have love that knows
No time, hardship, distance, disability or old age
Because a mother’s love is the epitome of perseverance

Beautiful testament to a mother's love,

Hi Nbada,
ReplyDeleteExtraordinary observations about a mother's love. Well done!

Your poem brought tears to my eyes, Nbada. My mother died long ago, but her love still brings me joy. What a wonderful tribute to loving mothers everywhere. God bless you for sharing this. Best wishes, Carolyn Devonshire

ReplyDeleteWonderful poem... A mother's tender love flows throughout the lifetime of her children. Inspiring message here, and one I can attest to as the mother of three grown, married sons! A mother is always concerned for her brood. Thanks for sharing Ndaba....
Ndaba,
ReplyDeleteYou are absolutely right...there is no love more special than a mother's love...
Sincerely,
David Fox

ReplyDeleteI never had the closeness of a mother's love, but my grandmother's love was "special", warm and embracing. A touching poem.
