A Lazy Winter’s Day
A frosted window
touched just right
with a hint of chill
that the winter season
provides. All the land
properly dressed
with a blanket of snow,
looking so pretty
in the stillness of cold
on a lazy winter’s day.

Hi Maurice, I see through your words a lovely winter scene! Although I'm not a winter person, I love the picturesque beauty of the season. Thanks for sharing your descriptive poem. Very pleasant! God bless you, ~Chris
ReplyDeleteHello Christine. I appreciate your kind thoughts. I've been in it (winter seasons) all my life and I still am not used to it, lol, but it is beautiful. Blessings!

Dear Maurice,
ReplyDeleteI love your description of a "Lazy Winter's Day" you did a wonderful write on Winter. Although I'm not a fan of the season some mornings when I look outside after a fresh snowfall and the sun is shining it can be a breath taking view.

Maurice,
ReplyDeleteIf I don't have to travel in it, the vision of snow can be very picturesque. You describe its beauty well here.

I love this painting of yours, Maurice. In my country, Malta, we never get any snow; would be lovely to wake up one morning and see the ground all covered in white! // paul
ReplyDeleteHi Paul. Thank you for stopping by and showering me with some blessed encouragement. Blessings!

P.S. The way the climate is changing these days, I wouldn't be surprised if you one day saw snow in Malta. If it happens when I am around, please let me know, lo.
