Old Time Valentines
i gave you my heart
but you lost it somewhere
those
dear wrinkled hands
losing stitch
in old lace and red velvet
stop for one moment
fond-time thoughts of
yesteryear
i offer you now
these lips eyes heart very
soul
my love-wrinkled valentine

DeleteYour entry is marvelous poetry written in such traditional form. The theme is timeless. The words and emotive factor are both present. I very much enjoyed the voice and tone. Thank you for sharing your work. It was an honor to read your entry. Sincerely, Ann Marie Mazzarella
