The Sunset--By Anne R. C. Neale--United States

The Sunset

As the sun slowly sinks below the horizon,
And darkness slowly sends dark shadows on the ground.
You can sit and become mesmerized with its beauty,
As the sun slowly disappears without a sound.

The beauty and the solitude that you can find,
Is wonderful as you watch the day light end,
Taking time out of your busy day, to see it,
Is a tranquility you can find in life, Amen.

There's so much beauty if only we would take time to look
And see the Glorious scenes that God creates,
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder,
But sunsets and sunrises are all really great.
