Tomorrow--By Barbara Siekierski--United States

Tomorrow

I sit by the window.
In my mind’s eye,
I see the light
shining on the water,
and His light
restores my soul.
It gives me hope
for tomorrow,
because I don’t know
what tomorrow brings.
Shadows dance
like a silhouette
on a lake,
like images
in a dream.
They are not real.
God is real.

  2. Moving poetry - Yes, God is real and I thank Him everyday for His gifts and inspirations to keep me moving through this 'sometimes' dark world. Nice work...

Hi Barbara, Although the future is unknown, I believe when God orders my steps, the journey is less of a struggle and peace is my companion. He is definitely REAL. I enjoyed your poem. Thanks for sharing a fine piece.
