Authenticity--By Leslie DeLuca--Canada

Authenticity

Ever flowing like a river hopefully yearning for peace continuously floats,
Transformative cascading waves of new found friendships soon to whirl
Cohesively, settling ever so gently into enormously deep, widening pools.
Hearts striving to merge within a sanctuary of exposure; Our vulnerability.
Bless a sea of humanity embracing each sacred, kindred spirits authenticity.

Leslie DeLuca thrives on a gratifying relationship with her longtime companions "books". Reading is her equilibrium restorer and writing has since become a renewed passion within past two years with poems published in 4 anthologies.

    1. Karen O'Leary, Thank you for such a heartwarming welcome; after an extraordinary anguishing time of self doubting, my entrance into online journal/poetry, 2 years in the making, sends my mind gleefully running rampant as to possibilities of future submissions here and/or elsewhere. I am as they say, now with wings, and extremely grateful, blessed that between Editor Daginne Aignend who hosted the October activity - Individual Publication Opportunity with theme of friendship had accepted my poem and that you have published it which now has my heart smiling, skipping several beats in appreciation of the kind lending of hands in friendship and your assistance with the affixing of my much treasured wings. Thank you so very much ladies. I am indebted.

    4. Inge, I can't express how grateful I am for your involvement in this euphoric memory maker moment of mine!!! It's a timeline treasure, one of those pivotal moments where I have finally stepped forward and stayed put rather than always hanging back wishing I could move; seems it was a happenstance event meant to be, logging on at the right time, to see your posting jumping out from the screen as if beckoning me to explore. I had been longing to move in with the community for some time now.. Silly me, I should have ventured out, testing the user friendly waters earlier! THANK YOU ALWAYS. xoxopurrrrrs <3

  2. River analogies are always the best. Yours forges what should be a path of least resistance. I learned about this from a friend, who resides in Canada.

  6. SweetSis, my most precious beloved confidante, YOU have always pushed me to BE; how can I not achieve my hearts desire to articulate via a written form which is so much more sacred to me than a spoken word when I have been blessed with someone nourishing me with such consistent supportive sustaining encouragement as you so lovingly provide. I Thank You and Love You Forever.

    1. Now my grin has taken over my whole face and I'm laughing with joy! You of all people know how much I desired this transition from posting poetry on my page and FB groups to actually submitting to an online journal which I desperately yearned for, yet always held back. It is with absolute truth that I was able to do as such with your ever consistent gentle prodding of encouraging words and feeding into my addiction of word play in the first place by actually publishing my first poems in 2015 on your website Aura of the Earth that nurtured me to the point I finally embraced the challenge of "just do it, fly with wings and soar". I can't wait until I have time to devote 100% of focused commitment to this wholly satisfying sustenance for the soul. Thank you always Ken; I'd need to find a Wizard to help me unearth a new vocabulary whereas never before seen words describing my gratitude for your mentoring could be sent your way.
