Joining Hands
The haters march, their voice is heard.
The non-prejudiced, who have no voice,
can reach out as friends, in quiet ways,
until their love speaks louder than hate,
and their joined hands keep hate away.
Caryl Calsyn has been a writer most of her life. She began to write poetry almost exclusively about 7 or 8 years ago. In 2012, she decided to see if she could get some published and succeeded on her first try! Caryl has had 117 publications in 10 different magazines. She is President of the Highland Lakes Writers’ Club, sings with her church choir and another choral group, is a member of the county historical commission and other history committees. She also restored her 1892 house.
