York In Bloom--By Joann Grisetti--United States

York In Bloom

blustery wind
pushes round Clifford’s Tower
almost a spring day
daffodils nod to the sky
“Here sun, have some yellow”

  1. I love the generosity of the daffodils offering their yellow to the most yellow of all.

  3. Hi Joann:

Set against the picture of the tower I saw through google, I can feel it and see it. "Here sun, have some yellow” is the most remarkable line. Bravo!
