Helping Children Smile
By John Judson Roe IV and David Fox
The weather is a bit sunny
Yet still sort of cold
Exciting for the children
Who are getting kind of old
They're anxious for Summer
That will end winter’s cold
The beaches are enticing
Beneath the sunny skies
Is where they go
when the rain dries.

Dear David and John,
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed reading your collaboration it brought me back to my childhood days when I was waiting for Spring to come after a cold Winter. You both caught the essence of that in your poem. Well done!

ReplyDeleteA nice light uplifting poem targeting the excitement of spring and last day of school ! The title is almost ironical in that we the readers are the children whom you have helped smile. Well done gentlemen.
