Haiku--By Barbara Tate--United States

hunter's moon
in the shadows
a wolf waits
                   NeverEnding Story, Feb. 2016

loggerheads
lace trails tatted
in the sand
                   The Herons Nest, 2015

Little League
sparrows cast shadows
in the outfield
                   Cattails 2016

tradewinds
half of the argument
left for later
                  Modern Haiku 2016

sunset walk
a pool of gold
at rainbows end
                  NeverEnding Story 2016

Barbara Tate is an award winning artist and writer, originally from Akron, Ohio, now residing in Tennessee.  She is a member of the Haiku Society of America, Gulf Coast Writers Assoc., and the United Haiku & Tanka Society. "I was fortunate this year to be able to attend the lectures and readings at the Sewanee Writers Conference at the University of the South.  Received some much needed inspiration."

    I really enjoyed reading and visualizing your haiku. I can't seem grasp how to do them myself but I'm always amazed by people who can. I've always enjoyed your work and these are no exception. My favorites were haiku 1,3 and 5.
