haiku--By ayaz daryl nielsen--United States

the evening rumbles
incomprehensible change
a day’s leftovers
---
gone in a fire-storm
the trees were pine and aspen
the house was our home
---
these hometown sidewalks
beside our pushy bruised streets
yearning’s alphabet
---
books we’ve read
unwinding in heart and thoughts
umbilical words
---
Spring morning
chilly tools held by patched gloves
bare feet on warm earth
---

    2. I liked all of these Ayas,
The 2nd one was a recent nightmare for me
A fire was carried thought the the grass & trees
& burnt our Colorado home to the ground.

  4. ayaz,
I enjoyed your haiku. I saw some of your work in "The Pink Chameleon", just before Mrs. Dorothy Paula Freda had to stop doing it for health reasons.
    Your friend,
    David Fox
P.S. Thanks so much for putting my feline haiku on your blog.
