No Internet In Heaven--By Erich J. Goller--United States

No Internet In Heaven

Young Eric coming home from school
all excited he is telling his mom,
“ today I’ve learned how to log on
and now I can email my dad in heaven.
please mom give me his address.

“ Well son, I’m sorry but that can’t be done,
there is no internet in heaven”.

“ Just how do you know that mom?”
asked her disappointed son.

“Our Pastor told me so, he said
just say it all in your prayer
and your Guardian Angel
will take your massage there.”

“You see son,
heaven is the place for peace,
love and rest and thank God
for banning the internet
in heaven.”

  5. Hi Erich. Wonderful poem! Heaven will be an eternal haven of bliss without man's technology. We don't need it anymore, because the Great Architect resides there! Thanks for sharing, enjoyed your poem! Good wishes, Chris~

  7. God in heaven is LOVE. The internet does not operate in heavenly joy and peace. God is ALL GOOD. The internet is sometimes good.

  8. I hope that is true. Enough of people glued to the computer screens, cell phone screens and unaware of those around them trying to capture their attention. Haha.
I enjoyed your humor in this fine poem Erich! Aloha, Connie
