Candy Life 's Addictive Store--By Elly Wouterse--Netherlands

Candy Life 's Addictive Store

for every child
divine store close at hand
sweetest temptation

Mrs. Life lavishness
sweet salty sour or spicy
and all in between

height of the counter
whether or not at arm's length
destiny defines

all flavors strengthen
bitterness defines sweetness
acid colors all

here randomness reigns
clay yellow jar on the counter
each time a free pick

always the challenge
here at Life's addictive store
for every child

Dutch poetess Elly Wouterse is oftentimes focused observing the world surrounding her. While watching, noticing, listening, thinking, dreaming and - or fantasizing she often finds the inspiration resulting in Poetical Visuals published on her own website - and in her first publication, Between Moonset and Sunrise.
