a micropoem--By Shivapriya Ganapathy--India

a micropoem

clouded by tears,
the night wears
a black moon.

Shivapriya Ganapathy is from Kanchipuram, India. She graduated with a Masters degree in English Language and Literature from Madras Christian College, Chennai, and is now a research scholar at University of Madras. Apart from being a researcher and an avid reader, she is an aspiring poet, constantly learning and experimenting with new forms like micropoetry, black out and erasure. She maintains a personal poetry blog (www.wordsfromdarkness.blogspot.in) and finds writing, therapeutic.
