That Little Ole Bear--By Celine Rose Mariotti--United States

That Little Ole Bear

That little ole teddy bear
Sitting in the big old rocking chair,
His big eyes so happy and bright,
His little face, such a delight,

That little ole teddy bear,
His soft paws folded in prayer,
He makes a wish for Santa to bring
Him a toy with which to play,
What he wants on Christmas Day,

That little ole teddy bear,
Give him a hug and a big kiss,
Christmas magic is such bliss,
The little bear he will pray,
And be so dear forever and a day.

  1. What a sweet poem Celine. I love Teddy bears. I was reminded of the one my elder brother was give to him at Christmas time when we were children. It wasn't mine though I had wished it was. He let me play with it and I was so happy. Thanks for the sweet memory. And thank you for sharing your talent.
