Makeover
I'd like to be a happy,
treasured soul,
with friends who cherished me
- who made me whole.
I'd like to feel content,
fully embraced,
no matter what my situation
faced.
Experiencing love would be my
hope,
and able to return it with great
scope.
I’ve turned into a hermit,
yet I find
a solo life is beautifully
designed.
Others may not want my
company
and I have found I cannot
disagree.
But sometimes I would like to
clearly see
a place where I feel wanted,
just for me.

Jean,
ReplyDeleteA beautiful poem. I'll miss The Jokester, if it should come to an end.
