Dear Whispers' Friends,
Inge Wesdijk
(Daginne Aignend)—The Netherlands, Activity Editor has a wonderful topic to
share for the upcoming holiday season. One of her goals is to give writers of
various levels a chance to share in her inspiring opportunity. I'm so
grateful that our talented friend is offering another opportunity to help us
grow as writers.
Note--This will replace the former individual poem publication
opportunity. The poems will be published throughout the month as they are
accepted for publication. Please send a 5 line or less bio with your
poem. This is optional, but it is a nice way for readers to get to know
poets that are published. Only one notification will go out each month
which you are welcome to share with your friends. At this point each
writer is eligible for publication each month. Inge and I will adjust
this if the volume is too much for one month.

Dear Inge and Michael,
DeleteIt is good to take some time to slow down in order to count the blessings in our lives. It is a joy to have each of you sharing your talents for Whispers. Best wishes and gratitude.

Hi, Inge:
ReplyDeleteGreat topic. By the way, I just read your intriguing flash fiction, titled "Squish and Wobble," in the Sept. 13, 2017 edition of the Indiana Voice Journal. I promise I will never look at a broom the same way. Also, I invite you to check out my three poems in the June 3, 2016 edition of IVJ. Take care, Inge.
Hi James,
DeleteGlad you liked the story, it was much fun writing it.
I will check your poetry, IVJ is a great journal, I will have 2 poems published in the next issue.
Best regards,
Inge
Hi Inge:
DeleteI will look forward to reading your poems in IVJ. In the meantime, please clarify one thing related to the Gratitude topic: should the poem be 10 lines or less or five lines? Both are mentioned as criteria. Thanks.
Best regards,
Jim
Dear James,
DeleteThank you for finding this error which is mine and one I corrected. It means that you care enough about Whispers to take the time notify us. Sorry for the mistake.
Best wishes and blessings,
Karen
Dear Inge,
ReplyDeleteMany thanks for this wonderful opportunity. Are you planning to bring out a print anthology of Whispers at the end of this exercise?
Regards and best wishes,
Vincent Van Ross
Dear Vincent,
ReplyDeleteThere are no plans to publish an anthology for Whispers. I would need an offer from a publisher willing to work with me on this project. If you know a publisher interested, please have him or her contact me.
Thank you,
Karen
