With compliments
For all you’ve given me
I owe you a debt in ghee
Much have I disappointed thee
Yet you’ve ensured trouble, I flee
With compliments, you are
God for the life in me
Mother for the health I breathe
Father for these lines I create
Friend for the charm you ooze
Thanks… though the word would
be insufficient!
