dear Jonette, love the imagery and wit. do dandylions have ' bad hair days'? :-) have a good day. ralph.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for the great imagery. I loved it all. "Katydid Kaydydidn't insect gossip," was so right on and I can just hear the Katydids calling back and forth to each other, when as a child I would go fishing with my Dad. Thanks for the memories.
ReplyDeletel have two words to describe this poem:creative ,compelling..
ReplyDeleteJohnette, I love these haiku! I can't pick a favorite, but I will say that I'll never see a dandelion the same way again. I had never thought about how they look like old ladies under hair dryers, but they do. I like the insect gossip one too. Kudos!
ReplyDeleteDear Johnette,
ReplyDeleteI see people are enjoying your haiku. Welcome to Whispers! I hope you are enjoying your time spent here.
