Life’s Richest Treasure
Within a love that knows no bounds or heights
It is life’s richest treasure
With beauty and pleasure
With two hearts mending
leading to a happy place
forever with joy
longing for your hand to hold
it is love that fulfills life
where red roses climb
with golden rays of sunlight
bright blue sky above
we shall always share
memories as twilight falls
gleaming in the sky

Dear Erich,
ReplyDeleteYou bring love to life with the images in your highly creative poem. Keep that treasure chest filled with memories to last a lifetime. Congratulations on 56 years of marriage. So many marriages fail and it's nice to hear your love has lasted more than half a century. Blessings to you and your wife, Carolyn
