Dream--By Swapan Kumar Rakshit--India

Dream

When it seems that the past went adrift
And the future would be totally aimless,
Only the dream plays the role of a nice gift
To a wounded mind, that needs a solace.
It can reciprocate the love unrequited
And can reflect unanswered smile at night.

  1. Dear Swapan Kumar Rakshit,

So much truth in your poem, it would be unfortunate if we lost our dreams. Dreams can give us hope in difficult times.
    Thank you for your contribution.

    Best wishes,
    Inge
