Legacy-A Lanterne Sequence
Our
fragrance
lingers on
within those we
rear,
sweet
smelling
if in God we
fear-
and
above
hovering
blessing as a
dove,
our
bios
dissipate-
into those we
love

ReplyDeleteHello, Brian, welcome to Whispers! ReplyDeleteDear Brian,
ReplyDeleteIt's so nice to read your work again. I agree with the insight in this poem. Part of us lingers on in family members long after we are gone. You expressed it in a beautiful way!
Love always to a great poet,
Carolyn
