The rain, the hope, the pain--By David (Dave) Coon--United States

The rain, the hope, the pain

Sunrays, laser beams of life,
glisten in the falling rain
raising the spirit of joy

Geodesic prisms disperse the rays
in rainbow colors of hope

Dreams of tomorrow reflected in light
shatter when impacting the ground
and the cold harsh reality of life

David (Dave) Coon has been sharing has poems on various social sites since 1997 and has always gone by the name of Nissmech.

  1. To harness and reel in such a trifecta, a writer (person) must truly be grounded and settled.

  5. The rain produces so many different emotions, and you captured some of them wonderfully. I have felt all of these at different times. <3
