Autumn
Alchemy
The
air is cool
Morning sun casting shadows
Without heat
Could almost be mistaken for its pale counterpart
Luminous orbs
Celestial street lamps
Irradiated pathways
Rays and beams
Traipse through leaves
Plodding across terrestrial plots
Broken into slivers
These minute rails
Made of gold and silver
Lace mortars and pestles
To combine cinnamon, sage, and citrus
Magically warming the senses
Dispersed by the breeze
Flowing through this perennial apothecary
