Sailing Once More--By Peter Dome--United Kingdom

Sailing Once More

Raise anchor set sail
And leave the shore
For the storm is over the dark clouds have dispersed
No more anxiety and no more hurt
Set course for new horizons and clear blue skies
I've so much living to do before I die
Now sailing on calm blue seas
Toward my dreams and destiny.

Hi, my name is Pete. I live in Sheffield, U.K. I hope you enjoy my poems. I look forward to reading yours. My best wishes. Pete.

  4. I loved your poem Pete. Let's all leave the storms of life behind and sail forward on calm seas toward new vistas. It is all in ones perspective isn't it? At least that is what I am told. Thanks for a good reminder and welcome to Whispers.

    2. Hello Peter, I have had a problem with my knee after the fall on slate floor in December, trying hard to fix the problem, slow process, frustrating, very painful at times. I cannot take pain relief medication as I am allergic to most of them as well as anti inflammatory medication.. Thank you for your kind concern and lovely wishes. I do hope you are keeping well, blessings sent with love, Lee
