Outsmarted Again
Banana sandwich
bread and jam
piece of cake
slice of ham
well done steak
Turn around to get a plate
from a rack
Gone!
Two little innocent faces
with wagging tails
staring back.

ReplyDeleteHi Peter,
ReplyDeleteYour poem gave me a great laugh. I know our pets would prefer to eat human food. LOL But stealing it just doesn't seem right. Maybe next time you can put your food out of their reach -- unless you don't mind sharing it! Very funny! Best wishes for 2014, Carolyn Devonshire
Hi there Carolyn. thank you so much. point taken,' put the food out of reach'. think I need some basic training, ha ha.their pretty smart, and will find a way. Thank you once again. take good care. warm best wishes, Pete and hounds.
