Computer Blues?
My
Laptop is on the blink again
So I'm resigned to using the old
Paper and pen
I tried a tablet
But it didn't make things better
I've still got an headache
And feel under the weather.
I'm all in a flutter and all in a flap
Wishing my computer connection
Will come back.
Because I can't read my own writing.

look forward to reading yours. My best wishes. Pete.
Hi Pete, this poem is really speaking to me. I have had quite a few computer problems. I just got my fourth monitor (used) the other day and I needed a upgrade and also was hacked. My printer is very finicky. AM I HAVING FUN YET? Your poem is witty and I can't read my writing sometimes too!
ReplyDeleteOh Joan. Joun the club. So sorry you had all those problems. I guess it wasn't a good day. Iy's so frustrating.. Se. no one it seems can read their writing.Sorry I have o giggle out loud. No wonder I never got a reply to mu love letters.Ha ha.Thank you.Pete.
DeletePete,
ReplyDeleteI had a good laugh after reading your poem. My writing is awful, that's why I have to type my poems sometimes shortly after to write them.
Your friend,
David Fox
hi David hope you are well my friend. It's amazing how many people relate to this, and cannot read their writing. what did we do before these stress gadgets.. Thank you take care. Pete.

DeleteHi Peter! Glad to see you here this morning. I can well relate to your computer blues; it's funny how we get accustomed to things and find it hard to make do without them. I too have tried using tablets, but they play me around no end! ~ All the best...paul
ReplyDeleteHi pPul so good to hear from ou. Hope you are well. Thank you so much.I often wonder what we did without all these stress gadgets.Keep taking the tablets. Pete.
DeleteInteresting that today I came here to read this well written zany poem. I was amused especially since this morning I spent five hours trying to copy and paste a poem only to have it get all jumbled up on the other end, after I got it like I wanted it and sent it. I finally figured out if I saved my poem in a PDF file I could send it and it wouldn't get all jumbled. At any rate my 'Tablet' leaves a lot to be desire. Thank you for making me smile about it all.
