Flaming
Wings
She had fire
on her wings,
and deep wounds
in her heart,
reborn like a phoenix
from the burning
ashes of Hell,
she had a shattered soul
and it was coming out
through her eyes,
warm and salty tears
like an endless rain.
But still she is not defeated,
she'll wipe her tears and
spread her wings wider,
the time to soar even
higher has come.
She had fire
on her wings,
and deep wounds
in her heart,
reborn like a phoenix
from the burning
ashes of Hell,
she had a shattered soul
and it was coming out
through her eyes,
warm and salty tears
like an endless rain.
But still she is not defeated,
she'll wipe her tears and
spread her wings wider,
the time to soar even
higher has come.
