Life is a journey, a moment of time,
Like the verse is to a Poet, a passage of rhyme.
The pendulum swings and we are a part,
Of this cutting edge, that tears at the heart.
We give it our best and feel the effect,
Of all that diminishes, leaving us vexed.
Yet, beauty's part of it, it paints every scene,
That causes the dreamer, to dream every dream.
What motivates all that a love's yet to lose?
Having constantly given, more life than they choose.
We see that the hours, or minutes pursued,
Are just a small part of a life to be viewed.
If age, or indifference, can change everyone,
So seconds, meet minutes and immortals begun.
Like lightening that breaks through the earth in a flash.
Is that moment of time in a soul that has passed.
