Morning Meditation--By Anita Leamy--United States

Morning Meditation

The movements are magnificent
in the symphony of the sky.
Golden hues blend softly with
the darkened denizens of the day.

Wisps of white between blue and gold,
and wings of wonder wander through,
melodiously connecting the glory
of fleeting movements.

Rhythmically they separate:
above, they rise in crescendos;
below, they billow and blend
till becalmed, all is endlessly gray.

The hope of the day lies hidden
in bright outlines of blue and gold.
Then, cresting the hills, light spills out,
almost touching my eyes—Sunrise!

  3. This was perfectly beautiful, one can feel and see it unfolding in this marvelous outlay of soul-thoughts-- that became memorable words.
