God’s Magic
On a snowy morning,
I watched snowflakes
drift in a soft quietness,
and marveled at its blanket
of whiteness, which covered me
with a warmth of peacefulness.
I absorbed its serenity
and whispered silent praise
for the pure joy of being touched
by the simple pleasure
of God’s magic.

Bill, thank you for sharing this well written poem that I can easily relate to. In fact I have a very special time in my life when viewing a snow storm for the first time in my life left me with the exact same feelings of peacefulness that was unmistakably God sent. I loved the poem.

Thanks Bill. Those simple pleasures are the best.
ReplyDeleteJohn,
ReplyDeleteWhen I'm inside, watching the snow it's lovely, I hope it won't come on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday of next week, because Tuesday's my birthday and I wouldn't want it to spoil Christmas Eve or Day either. Any other day it can snow all it wants...
Your good friend,
David Fox
P.S. Does it ever really snow a lot in Georgia?
Thanks for sharing your delightful poem John. The wonders of God's handiwork is magical, & never ceases to amaze me! Plus to think each snowflake is different boggles my mind!! God bless you...~Chris
