Haiku--By Lavana Kray--Romania

power cut -
the snowflakes pair off
for a dance
_______________

old watercolour -
a dripping tear
makes the difference
_______________

ice fishing -
the wind bites
first
_______________

squally words-
your breath
spotting the night
_______________

high snow-
a starling pecking
the door bell grain
_______________

Lavana, I loved all your Haiku, but especially the one about ice fishing because it reminded my of my dear Dad who loved fishing so much that he would tolerate any weather to fish and I have pictures of him sitting on the ice at a near by lake where he used to live, sitting so patiently for the fish to bite. It was of course very cold but he dressed like a eskimo and enjoyed every minute. Thank you for sharing your talent.
