Butterflies In Heaven--By Ndaba Sibanda--Saudi Arabia

Butterflies In Heaven

In bloom
Those flowers are a beauty
Their fragrance a magnet
Resplendent in nature

------Colourful-------

They lure butterflies
And hummingbirds
Flowers twinkle and wilt
Into a scented paradise

  4. Hi Ndaba. I love this. I am a softy for butterflies anyway; they are my favorite creatures. So elegant and beautiful they are. They way you have woven them in this poem is even more of a delight for the eyes to see and the mind to meditate upon. Thank you for sharing and continued blessings!

  7. Ndaba, when I read your poem my first thought was of Heaven and I have no doubt that your wonderful description of nature could well apply to Heaven. I certainly appreciated it, as I was thinking strongly this morning about what Heaven will be like when I listened to a woman sing a solo in church called Hosanna. I could easily picture myself in Heaven in those few minutes listening to her, even as I could picture myself in Heaven when reading your poem. Thank you for sharing your amazing talent in this well written lovely poem.
